It appears that Facebook-controlled WhatsApp is all geared up to transport feature of group calling to the app. The newest feature is covered on beta version of the app for the iOS. According to WaBetaInfo (@wabetainfo), an account on Twitter that follows alternation in beta builds of WhatsApp, verified that the feature is obtainable. WaBetaInfo (@wabetainfo) tweeted, “The 2.17.70 iOS update has very hidden references to group calls! Before it was an internal news, now it’s all confirmed. There are a lot of hidden references about group voice calls, but there is only one reference about group video calls. So, group video calls are partially confirmed at the moment.”
According to previous reports, the texting app was claimed to be operating on a feature of group calling that was anticipated to be launched out in 2018. The app of Facebook Messenger already has an analogous characteristic. Earlier last week, WhatsApp launched out its feature of live location sharing for iOS and Android. This feature, as the name recommends, shares the position of the consumers and allows the other 3rd-party apps follow them in real time. It is worth observing that WhatsApp previously has a feature of “Current Location” sharing but that is a one time feature and others are not capable of tracking the location of the users as they shift.
The feature of Live Location sharing can be employed in groups or in individual chats. While giving the location members in the group will be capable of seeing the remaining of the users under the map who have given their live locations. Multiple members can share their position at the same time. Live Location feature of WhatsApp is the 2nd huge feature coming from the instant messaging company this month post app of WhatsApp Business. The latest app plans to make it simpler for companies to interact with its users. It also has some additional features as compared to the normal app of the company.
For now, we are eagerly waiting for the new feature of WhatsApp. Stay tuned for updates regarding the same. We will update as soon as possible.
