Most of the IT companies based in Madhapur have requested their workers to operate from home this week. This move was taken keeping in mind the limitations put in place for the worldwide summit being carried out in the presence of Ivanka Trump, the U.S. President Donald Trump’s advisor and daughter.
The GES (Global Entrepreneurship Summit), being attended by more than 1,500 members, will be initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As a fraction of safety approaches for the high-profile occasion, limitations have been put in position with reference to movement of vehicular traffic and people around and in the venue—the HICC (Hyderabad International Convention Centre)—at Madhapur that is an IT center.
“We were requested to operate from home if we are not able to come at office this week,” a worker operating for a multinational auditing and consulting company claimed to the media. The whole city is below a thick blanket of safety bearing in mind the visit of a lot of VVIPs and Ivanka Trump for the 3-day summit, which is being conducted for the first time in India. Trump in addition to a business assignment from her nation landed at the airport in Shamshabad last week.
A senior official of the police claimed that as many as 10,000 security staff have been arranged to keep a keen eye for the summit days. When made a contact, president of the Hysea (Hyderabad Software Exporters Association), Ranga Pothula, claimed that some of the firms in Madhapur have rolled advisories to their workers permitting them to operate from home.
“There are profound VIP movements comprising security problems. There are traffic limitations around most of the locations. Hence most of the companies have rolled advisories to their worker requesting them to operate from home if they think that they can’t come to office,” Pothula claimed.
